Tyne and Wear Fire and Rescue
This is one of the two main frontline appliances which can be found in Tyne & Wear. It is known as a Water Tender Ladder. It carries all the necessary firefighting equipment, as well as a 13.5meter ladder on the roof.
The design shows a simple light bar at the front of the appliance. Underneath that on the right-hand side of the cab is the TWFRS logo. Above the three white lines which run the length of the cab, under the front window says 'Creating a safer community' and the website is underneath the rear window. On the back, with all of the equipment, it says 'TYNE AND WEAR FIRE AND RESCUE' in yellow. This vehicle was designed by George |
This is Tyne & Wear's second frontline appliance. It is called a Water Tender and differs from the Water Tender Ladder as it does not have a 13.5meter ladder on the roof. However it does have a 10meter ladder.
On the roof of the cab is a modernised light bar. Underneath that on the roof is the website for the service. On the middle window is warning about CCTV equipment used in the appliance and under that is the appliance's number. On the bottom of the back door it says 'Creating a safer community' This vehicle was designed by George |
Northumberland Fire and Rescue Service
This is one of two main appliances used by Northumberland Fire and Rescue Service.
Going the full length of the top of the appliance and the bottom of the cab is a yellow line with thinner blue lines on either side. On the front cab door is the logo for the service. On the back it says in yellow 'Fire & Rescue Service'. Above the lockers on the back it says 'Northumberland County Council'. The middle locker has the Dräger logo and information on. This is because Dräger has a factory / warehouse in the Blyth area which is covered by Northumberland Fire and Rescue Service. This vehicle was designed by George |
